REPORT By Richard KA5ALO approved as read with motion by Bill N9SQV and 2nd by Dave N3CI. CORA REPORT By Dave N3CI mostly on Ham Holiday. There was a question concerning tower insurance and the CARC. Larry K5VVD is looking into that. TRES. REPORT Larry K5VVD gave tresurers report. TECH REPORT Ron W5RGT said the repeaters are up and running. OLD BUSINESS None NEW BUSINESS Tom Webb WA9AFM gave a briefing on the upcoming OKC Memorial Marathon. The event is for 30 April, 2006 at 6:30 am. There are a few changes including a Special Event HF Station that will be on the race course during the marathon. Mike KD5TLM will be updating the Web site for the club. Bill N9SQV is taking care of the voice announcements on the repeater. The club plaque needs to be updated. Field Day committee this year will be Richard KA5ALO. As a note, I have been in some talks with Bill Wilburn, President of MORI about a joint field day effort. Kay and Bob (KB5VJR and KE5CES) are planning a picnic in March for the club and all other guests. There will be more info at the next regular meeting. Dave Downing WD5G has been checking into the Power Poles for possible at Ham Holiday this year. He will make his report at the next meeting also. A discussion came up about how to enhance club membership and increase interest in ham radio in general. It seems like the average age of radio ops is slowly increasing and we would like to see that average drop down some. Bill N9SQV made a motion to have some professional posters made with ideas to be presented by the club in general at the next meeting. 2nd by Bob KE5CES and passed. Mike KD5TLM presented some ideas and also asked for ideas from the club on membershipe and show & tell.
