Previous Minutes: Minutes from the August meeting were approved. Treasurer’s Report: There was no Treasurer’s Report OLD BUSINESS: Repeater Shack Report: Bill N9SQV had located two doors of the correct size in his father-in-law’s attic. A comical story was shared regarding the acquisition of the doors involving Bill and Larry. Route 66 On the Air: The event was held at the Oklahoma Historical Society. Richard KA5ALO participated and reported making contacts. Don N5ENQ also was involved. NEW BUSINESS: CORA Report: Bill N5NUK announced a special meeting of CORA to discuss possible re-location sites for Ham Holiday. The date was yet to be announced. Bill N9SQV mentioned a hangar once used for an antenna demonstration at Max Westheimer field near the admin building. Picnic Outing: Dave WD5G proposed the idea of a chili cookout or picnic now that fall weather has brought cooler temps. A date was not determined. Tech Meeting: Dave WD5G would do a presentation on sound card software special modes. The Tech Meeting date is October 2. A considerable amount of ragchewing ensued covering a number of topics. There was no further business. The meeting adjourned at 7:36pm.
