Choctaw Amateur Radio Club Minutes from June 15, 2009

Approval of May Minutes:
The minutes of the May meeting were approved.
 
Treasurer's Report:
David NH6SM gave the Treasurer's Report.
 
CORA Report:
Bill N5NUK gave a report on Ham Holiday 2009. Everything is on track for the event, it's now primarily a matter of waiting on the calendar.
 
Tech Meeting:
Don N5ENQ was not able to continue his presentation on Winlink.
 
Controller radios:
Ron W5RGT had passed the information along that the UHF radios to be used for the controller were useless. Dave WD5G offered to donate a scanner to receive a signal since all that's necessary is a receiver.
 
Miscellaneous:
Bill N9SQV raised the issue of the club picnic and the food to take place during Field Day. (The picnic was subsequently cancelled the Tuesday before Field Day due to the extreme hot weather with a note to try again after the weather cools off).
 
There was no other business and the meeting was adjourned.
 
The next meeting will be July 20, 2009.
