Choctaw Amateur Radio Club (CARC) Regular Monthly Meeting was held on November 18, 2002. At the Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center.. A quorum was met and business conducted as follows.
The Choctaw Amateur Radio Club meeting was called to order by President Chuck Kanach KC5EZS , at 7:00 PM. Followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The secretary recorded 12 members present and 1 guest, Bob Adkinson KG50E.
Sick Report- Everyone seemed to be doing ok, OJ WB5SRX, said Marilyn's knee is doing great, and he is taking her dancing Saturday.
Since we were in an Adult Learning Center, there was no radio net for the club meeting.
Secretary's Report- The October minutes were approved as published on the web site.
Treasurer's Report- No report given. But a motion was made to reimburse Larry K5VVD for the flowers for Les Johnstons funeral. It was seconded and passed, no oppose.
CORA- The meeting was held at the Enid Hamfest. There will be no meeting in December.
Tower- No status, but a motion was made, seconded and passed to select/appoint a member to join ORSI with the club paying the dues. Dates of the ORSI meetings will be brought to the next meeting.
Choctaw Emergency Management- Nothing to report
PL the repeater- It is ready. Not necessary to have your tone in there right now, but will be needed soon. And it wouldn't hurt to have it on there now. The same tone for decode and encode, 141.3

Don N5ENQ asked if the club still had some tower sections for sale. They need it for the Baptist Building for the Baptist Disaster Relief group. Motion was made to donate two middle sections for the Baptist Relief Organization. Seconded and passed
Announcements:
Bill N9SQV brought a Proclamation from Govenor Keating stating that November 16, 2002 was Oklahoma Amateur Radio Relay League Day.
President Chuck KC5EZS thanked the club members for the support he had during his two years, and gave Don N5ENQ his support for the following year.
